The Classic Stainless Synthetic Model 70's, regardless of vintage, have the two-piece all stainless steel bottom metal. Your new Camo stock is inletted for the newer style one-piece bottom metal, which is alloy with a stainless steel floorplate.
If I recall correctly, the two-piece bottom metal won't work with the newer one-piece style stock, although the one-piece bottom metal could be used on a two-piece style stock, with a bit of modification to the stock.
I think in your situation, I would consider going with the new Williams one-piece bottom metal, it is machined stainless steel, with the in-the-bow floorplate release (Oberndorf style). Unless you want the lighter weight of the factory alloy bottom metal, the Williams would be the class act! Good luck however you decide to go!
