Anyone taking buff with the 9,3mm 250 grs Barnes solid?

I don't hunt African game, but I do take note when someone who does passes along excellent information. "For rounds that have a high impact velocity, like the .375, I have a distinct preference for monometal hollowpoints like the Barnes TSX. For slightly slower rounds like the 9.3 or .416, the Woodleigh protected points and Nosler Partitions are fantastic - and there are many other suitable choices. ...I have seen how long they [buff] can live with a hole through the heart.... I have seen more than one buff still full of fight 20 minutes after taking a heart shot with a solid. As a PH this isn't good for my nerves...." I killed a cape buff with my 9,3x74R double rifle using the 286gr Woodleigh Soft. One shot to the center of the chest as he faced me was all it took. He was down and dead in less than 40 yards. I have shot giraffe and elephant with the 286gr Woodleigh Solid. I prefer the 286gr bullet in the 9,3, especially for the big stuff. DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY

Islander I shot a large bodied cow elephant in the SAVE, at 5 yards, side brain shot. The 286 Woodleigh Solid gave complete penetration. I did not even fire an insurance shot. I have used it on turkeys, guinea, baboon, and caracel as well. Also the 286 Woodleigh soft has performed perfectly on game from whitetail deer and impala to cape buff. The 286 Nosler Partition has performed perfectly on the same game as well, except for cape buff I have not shot one of them with it. DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY
