I picked up a very nice Schultz & Larsen recently, a Model 60 originally in 7x61 S&H which has been reamed to 7mm Rem Magnum. I'd appreciate any comments on this model, but am especially interested to know if the engraved floorplate was a regular production item or if it may be custom. I can't find an example of a Schultz and Larsen with a relief engraved steel floorplate like this one -- all I've seen have been ordinary blued metal.

I used a S&L Model 60 for years and apart from a bit of pattern along the top of the receiver to prevent glare when using open sights they had no other embellishment if you don't count the white line spacers on the recoil pad and grip cap.
That is a custom job you have.
