Please post a picture of the stock. Does it have the ebony foreend, wrap around checkering , inletted swivel bases, etc. Also, please post the serial number (you can use xxx for the last three numbers). That will tell us what year it was built. I will look it up in the Roger Rule book. Tim

Charlie, Sounds good. I just bought a 1952 Pre-64 M70 Supergrade 30-06 in mint condition. It came with a Lyman Alaskan All Weather scope (2.5x with post & crosshair) also in mint condition. Regarding Zim, yes, I can't wait to get back. This time around my wife is headed to the UK for a few weeks (she is a Brit) and I am going with one of my buddies, N'gagi. It is his first trip to Africa and he is even more excited than I am. How is Kiwi life? My wife has a couple of British friends who now live over there (Seatoun, Wellington). Quite a few of her other friends travel from the UK to NZ on holiday and usually stop here (southern California) on the way over and/or back. Kind of breaks up the long flight. We keep meaning to get over there, but with a 20 month old boy and pregnant wife, it may be a while longer. I will look up the rifle info when I get home from work tomorrow. I really love the Pre-64 M70's and own quite a few (including 3 supergrades: 458WM, 7x57, 30-06). Tim
