does anyone know what the twist rate is in the Remington Classic chambered in 8x57mm Mauser..??

Well, my VERY CRUDE tight patch measure comes up at ~ 10 1/2" from one top dead center "cleaning rod mark" to the next.

I haven't looked at the Remington web site to see what they claim. Have you?

I own one. The Remington spec is 1 - 9.5". (I printed and saved the spec sheet from Remington's web site back when the specs for the Model 700 Classic in 8x57 were listed online in 2004. I'm looking at it as I type this message.)
