Since you have a .338, I voted for the .257 Wby Mag. For the items you listed that are available for you to hunt, it would be a great choice. I own one and it is my favorite rifle. It has an extremely flat trajectory and enough energy, even at long distances, to take anything you are able to hunt. Also, the recoil is surprisingly low considering the case capacity.

The biggest drawback is the cost of ammo, but if you load your own, that really helps with the cost.

Good luck with whatever you get and good hunting!

Everything I say is fully substantiated by my own opinion.

Hello I know that I had been an excellent election, but I in the end decided on 300 Weatherby, I think which one a cartridge also quite capably of knocking down animals at a considerable distance or: am I wrong?,

A greeting,

Oscar.

My question is you what do you think a 300 weatherby will do besides shoot flatter past 300 yards that a simple 300 win mag would not..A 30 caliber hole through the heart is still a 30 caliber hole nothing magical about going faster if your not long range shooting.

Hello, really I believe that both cartridges (300 Winchester and 300 Weatherby), a few similar services have, but I from young good was wishing 300 Weatherby, although also I liked the rest of cartridges that I have named. In the end the heart has been able more that the reason and I already have my 300 Weatherby. But I believe that both with 300 Winchester, and with the Weatherby we will do the same on the subject of hunting.

Oscar.

Ovny i've been using the 300 bee for about 20 years.I have found it to be very effective on moose, bears and deer.I have also found that standard cup and core bullets seem to put moose down much quicker than premium bonded bullets,a seirra game king in the lungs out of the 300 weatherby will wreck any animals day.

Hello, a question in reference with 300 Weatherby. My Weatherby Vanguard in the above-mentioned caliber is going to be with the one that tries to hunt some day a roebuck, I know that it is excessive for the above mentioned cervids, but my question is: what top do you advise me?, for other forums Nosler Partition of 180 they have advised me grains, but I know that there are tops of minor weight as the Spitzer of 150 grains: what seems to you?

Oscar.
