I am loading MagPro in the 270 WSM with 140's as it shoots well, the velocity is up there and I am hunting with it. After the season I will try other powders but another pound of it is here as I can't play around now.
The velocity is 3210 fps out of a 24" barrel. The powder leaves a film on the necks but I am sticking with it for now.
RL-22. Used it in mine. 130 grain Woodleighs. Shoots 3 shot groups into a single ragged hole. Killed one deer with it so far. less than a 100 yards. Standing broadside. Complete penetration.

Mine was shot with a 2-7 scope though. I like to see what they will do with my actual hunting optics. Sometimes I do load development with a 3x9 Conquest to see what a load will really do at 100 yards. But, I am not that accuracy crazy. I would rather shoot 10 rounds at 200 yards over a couple days out of a cold barrel to check my hunting accuracy. I also said that the 7828 was the best out of my gun. They all differ somewhat. I tried 4350, both brands, RL22, which my 300 really likes, RL19, and Varget. The 7828 was still the best.
Can't comment on 100 grainers, but with 90 grain Sierras I have very good luck with Varget. I don't recall the charge (no notes handy), but accuracy at 100 was worthy of a trip to the prairie dog towns.

Can I add a twist to the tread, how about powders for 110 and 130 gr pills. I am going to try H4350 for the 130/135 weights. I started with Varget since that is what I had and it is not putting out the velocities I expected.

For 130 gr and 140 gr bullets IMR 4350 was quite accurate. It took over ten more grains of MagPro to get 75 fps more velocity.
I have not shot 110 gr bullets in the 270 WSM as of yet. That will come next spring for coyotes as I like the 110 gr VMax. In the regular 270 Win shooting 110's I used RL 15.
What with the good accuracy I got with 4350 it would be a good choice for the 110's in the 270 WSM.
What load are you using for the 135 gr bullets?A friend of mine wanted to see what the browning would do if he rebedded it and used a match bullet it done very well. He shot 2 groups afterwards using IMR 4831(62grs) and shot 2 groups @300yds less than an inch.Pretty awesome. For the 130 sst I like IMR 4350 (62.5 grs)Going to work up a 140 gr load after hunting season,to see how they do. H414 did well in both my win 70 and browning also. You may want to try those with the 130 sst's.

I have only used varget so far with 135s, this is accurate but I think the varget is not well suited with this weight. I am going to go to H4350, and may stick with varget for the 110s. For no real reason, I am probably a hodgdon man, (its a Chevy-Ford-Dodge thing, no rationale, its just the way it is)
I load for the 245 (70-80), 30-06 (125-165), and now the 270wsm (110-140) and want to minimize the powder containers I have. I think one powder is asking too much, perhaps I can get by with varget for the lighter wieghts and H4350 for the heavier wieghts. H4350 does very well for for me in my 30-06.
I used I4064 also and am very unhappy with its metering behavior. Varget is smooth and reliable thru my equimpent. I was going to try Magpro till I heard some reviews about its poor workability - TRUE???
