This is just conjecture, but I have several boxes of Kynoch 9x57 ammo in the same red< !--color--> and yellow< !--color--> packaging that date to near the end of original Kynoch production in the 1960s. I would guess your .303 Savage ammo dates to the same era. This 9x57 ammo is Berdan primed and has about 80% reliable ignition with what little of it I've fired. Anybody need 6-8 10-round boxes of original Kynoch 9x57?
