dream rifle, except for the see through mounts, which make pencil necks of us all. Note the drop on stock, and how much stretch is it for to see through the scope? I have a similar piece with peep sight see through claw mounts. How does it shoot?

Jameister The low comb and high rings make it quite comfortable to shoot. I can keep my head up in a natural position. It shoots about 1.5" at 100 yds, which is about as well as I can shoot. The only drawback is that a hard rubber buttplate on a 9.3x62 light rifle is rough on the shoulder. JOHAN I'm the worst rifle loony there is. I seek out only the finest. Many are found in unsuspecting places. Some I keep for my own use, but most get passed along to others who appreciate such craftsmanship. [ 05-11-2003, 18:16: Message edited by: KurtC ]

Fabulous rifle! The M-S left a big hole in the rifle market when it was discontinued. Nothing ever quite like it!!

A real beauty with nice engravings - a gun to be proud of. Last friday I bought one of my own from an old hunter. He had tried to get rid of it, but nobody wanted it. But so did I, and it was a real bargain. Mine is a 1950 NO in 8x60 S Magnum with a swing mount, but without scope. I plan to put a 6x42 Swarovski in it, which would be decent for a M-S. However, mine is a bit used and lacks the engravings, but your seems to be mint condition. Best regards, Fritz
