I can not remember if I asked this before, but I have been ooadue to my wifes surgery. How does one adust the triger on a Browning A-Bolt? Is it adjustable or am I about to spend a bunch for a after market (Timminy) triger. The pull weight is OK ut it travels about six miles before the sear releases, and then goes on another mile and a half before it stops. If I could even get it up to the qualit of my M1 before I worked on it I waold be happy. I av lubed the works and that smother it out a litle but it breaks like sogy cornflaks now. Shame on you Browning, If you can build great shotguns why not trigers for small bore rifles like my 270? (Big Bore is anything over .416 in my humble opinion,) JUdge Sharpe PS Rick- Give my regards to the kid- and tell him to stay safe. Bill Brower Is it safe to let for a 58 year old man run around in the woods unsupervised with a high powered rifle?

Judge, My A-bolt has a small set screw behind the trigger. If you take the gaurd off, you should see it. Mine came down to about 3-1/2 lbs, but as far as other adjustments, I don't think you can. I could be wrong, though. They feel really rough to me. Isaiah 41:10
