shot my new CZ550 9.3x62 last nite.
norma 285 oryx ammo. burris fullfield 3x9 scope.
1st group after sighting in was 1" then next was 2". i think i rushed and know i forgot to use the set trigger on at least one of those shots. i then shot a 200 yd group also 2" .
not bad for my first outing with the rifle.
next time i'll try and get more consistant groups. and also try some hunting positions.

I bought a CZ 550 American in 9,3x62 from someone on this board in 2003 or so. Have taken it to Texas and RSA. Has taken WTs, piggies, Impala, Warthog, Zebra, Wildebeast, and Kudu.

Only the Kudu required more than one ... and he had obviously not read "The Perfect Shot." 286 gr Noslers just blow through. Have never recovered a bullet.

The little fella just works and works and works. I love it!

Congratulations on a fine acquisition!

I have a blaser R93 with barrels in 9.3. I have a 1x6 on it right now and it is one of my favorite rifles. I'm in the process of putting a docter red dot sight on it should be fun

Enjoy your 9.3!

Congrats. I shot my Blaser 9.3 for the first time today. Picked it up from a fellow AR member. I went cheap and bought 5 boxes of Prvi 285 RN. With a 2-7 Nikon (temp scope) I got a nice 1.25" 5 shot group into a strong head wind. I'm sold on the Blaser and the 9.3.

Enjoy

Me too! thumb Rich, You might give the 250 grain TSX bullets a try. The shoot very well in my Blaser. I have some phone books ready to do a penetration test to see if the 250 grain TSX bullets will out penetrate a 286 grain Woodleigh protected point. I'll let you know the results.
