Not much to add. I would normally caution that the 721/722 comb is too low, but since you WANT to use iron sights, that's not a consideration. If the extractor breaks, it's a bitch to get fixed, but breakage is not that common. The only 722 I've actually owned was a .244, and it's a ringer for accuracy. I think that $350 is near the top for a clean 722, but the gun is well worth it if that's what you're looking for. By the way, if you came across one in .300 Savage, it would likely go for less and can be loaded within 50 fps of a .308. | |||
