I started shooting these 162s in my Remmy 708 lately with the new Alliant 2000MR powder and got a pretty nice 1.6" 3 shot group @300yds, have since loaded up 11 more for verifying and thought Id try a couple different loads with RL17, also. I was just wondering what you fellas have found to be the best powder for this bullet if youre actually using the 162AMAX? The load that shot the best with the 2000MR powder was 41grs, the 2 loads Im going to try with RL17 are 45.5 & 46grs, both loads are using Rem brass & CCIBR primers.

What kind of velocities age you getting with the 162 gr bullets?

With the 41grs 2000MR I figure about 2640. Alliant got 2710 with 42grs. Hornady got 2700 with 46grs RL17.
