Can such a lovely AV beast handle Nosler LR 150-grain Accubonds, or should I save them for the 270 Weatherby and its 26" barrel? With the Weatherby, is there a benefit to going to a 1:9" twist rate for the 150s at 3,250 fps? THX. | ||

Im sold on 1x10 as it handles all bullet weights, and I like the 22" barrel in a 270 or 30-06, but Im strictly a hunter that likes a hunting rifle to weigh no more than 8 or 8-1/2 pounds, scoped and loaded..When I was a young buck I preferred the 26" tube and and a heavier rifle as they hold more solid for off hand and running shots, these days the fwt holds just the same, muscles turn to marshmellows! 7 lbs is heavy these days..Your next..
