I ran across this little video of the new Krieghoff repeating rifle "Semprio". I hope this will play for you...

http://www.wildundhund.de/438,5628/../r30/vc_content/bi...clips/multimedia.wmv

Interesting how it is operated with the forearm - opposite to most pump actions. It's supposedly very fast - in the video the shooter gets off 4 shots in 3-4 seconds (I'm not sure if he hits anything Smiler ).

Here is some more information:

For anyone used to a pump action rifle or shotgun, that Krieghoff is going to feel really wierd.

I just don't get it.
My prediction...it'll be gone in five years.

It will be interesting to see how well a scope will stand up to that!

Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.

Doomed from the very start, IMHO. "Normal" pump guns already don't sell in Europe and I'd be surprised if the U.S. went to a "reversed" one...

3 shots do not make a group, they show a point of aim or impact.
5 shots are a group.

I'm pessimist too; I can't see a great future for that rifle. Furthermore a Krieghoff pump seems to me a sort of sacrilege Eeker !

Being a Kreighoff it will be veddy expensive. I think maybe a collector or two may buy them and that is it. WHY is my next question and what need does it fill?

Centrefire pumps are not even legal in some European juridictions.

Another case of an answer in search of a question.

Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not out to get you....

I think it will sell in Europe, mostly in Spain and Portugal, because they seemed to like pumps and autoloaders for the Monteria.

The Euro price of the new Merkel and Sauer autoloaders is around $2000. I am sure both rifles closer to $3000 in the states.

I am betting this rifle will be in that same E2000 range, and if you can get one in American it will be $3500.

PA is the heartland of pumguns and every gunshop has a used 760 drawing dust at $350. I imagine owners of this beauty will be among very select company indeed.
