| All, I just ordered a new Weatherby synthetic Mark V and on going to pick it up found that the safety "clicked" on and off. The detente was so strong I could not easily put the gun on safe, in fact I could NOT put the gun on safe without considerable effort. Two other gun store employee's tried it as well and said the same. My older guns safety is silent and very easy to move on and off. Is this something new on this years models?? Is there some adjustment that can be made to reduce the force required to put the gun on and off safe? I do not like the click and I cannot use the gun as is. Any suggestions? Jimmyp |

| It wouldn't bother me on a gun I already owned, my shooting "upbringing" taught me to NEVER trust a safety, particularly a mechanical one. As for the fact its a new gun, STICK to YOUR GUNS! Dont rest up on their case until your safety is how it should be! |
