AKA 7mm STW? Why would anyone make a 7mm-.300WBY when the 7mm STW is standard? Hunting experience?....yes....I had the STW and found it worked exactly like the 7mm Rem Mag.... I sold it but sure wish I had that M-70 CRF back....it'd ba a .375 H*H now! /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." Too similar to the 7mm STW to really warrant building one. Now if you already had it (understandable seeing as the STW was a wild cat just a few short years ago too) then reloadersnest.com has loads, you could probably top the STW by a bit due to a slightly larger capacity, and higher loading pressure IF you have the Weatherby free boore. Big if. If you think every possible niche has been filled already, thank a wildcatter!

The 7mm-.300 bee was at one time the hot 1,000 yard cartridge and still may be for all I know. However, a big 7 like the STW, RUM, 7/300 Weatherby is as fine a huntin rig as there is on earth. A 140 gr bullet at a sizling 3500 fps and minimum felt recoil is a thing of beauty (TOB). Warren Page was right.

BTW, a big plus for the 7mm-.300 Weatherby is the high quality 300 brass available from Norma for Weatherby.
