| The only other off the shelf rifle in 30-378 that I have seen is the Sako TRG-S, in fact I saw one listed for sale this week. I would stay with the Weatherby over the Sako. I have one of the Sako TRG-S in 308 Warbird Lazeroni calibers. Once I had it rebarreled and some gun smithinhg work done, it would shoot. |

thanks very much for the info! i was checkingout the Sako website last night, couldn't find a .30-378 on there though but may want to stay away from them anyhow now. thanks. that .308 warbird cartridge has become interesting to me recently though. i even checkedout the Lazzeroni website but i'd hate to spend $6000 on rifle that only comes in black synthectics stocks. |
