All right I'll admit it I'm not the most gifted male when it come to putting things back together, that said this used Co Ax I traded for driving me crazy. I'm trying put my lower jaws back in after losing a spring and ordering some extras. When I put the jaws back in place do the spring side go to the front or the back? I've tried them both ways, and when you lift the arm back up one of the jaws moves forward and you can't reopen the jaws with out manually sliding the jaws back into proper alignment. Some one has a tin template on this unit, that the jaw assembly sits on top of, is it supposed to be there to be there? Thanks for any help Regards Greg

easy now, greg. springs face the front, where the opener set screw activates them. do it the other way and you will have to end up buying a new plate after you crack and bend it. costs about $20.00 from forster. you should have that sheet of slick tin in there. if you don't forster will send you one for something along the lines of $20.00. you have to play with the screws that hold down the plate and jaws. it takes a little while to figure out how much torque is needed so that both jaws grab and release without a stink. i know it sounds like a pain, but once you get used to the process, you will not even realize you are doing it. it is the best press out there. i don't even use my dillon for pistol anymore because of the control and accuracy of the co-ax. then again, i don't really shoot 38 super anymore and my pistols are limited to 10mm and 44 mag. keep plugging away. if you have any further questions, post or pm me. i have a little experience with the press, about 10 years worth.

Great read. I should have accessed this material before now. It certainly reinforces my opinion of this press. The designer's desire to address the many problems a press can present is illustrated. ________________ Simplicity is truly the essence of perfection. - George Bernard Shaw

I might be a rookie at reloading by the standards of the good people here but this press grabbed my attention right away. The folks on this site confirmed my research thoughts so the Co-Ax is the one I bought. Wouldn't know how to reload without it anymore. The primer seating station is simply outstanding. Seats the primers exactly EVERYTIME. The decapping is just perfect. Sizing and seating just work flawlessly. For the quality and functionality, the minor extra cost for them is not even a thought.
