Read on another forum that the Tikka 270WSM is considerably slower (200fps) than other brands. Looking for specific tests/reports to back this up.

With my T3 Lite I get 3100fps-945m/s with Norma factory 130 Ballistic Tip 130 gr. and 3018-920m/s with handloads, but it's not a max load.

I saw a artical in I think shooting times where this was said but I dont know how much stock i would put in it. I think if you reload you could find a good load for it.
But if your worried about it why not get winchester or some other brand?

Some loads are reaching or exceeding book max and some are not. It's hit and miss with mine.

I'm not at all disappointed with 3200 fps with a 140 gr Accubond anyhow.
