here is a picture of My Model 88 and my model 70, neither are collectable but dandy hunting rifles. the lever is vitage 1960 , and the turnbolt is a 1953. Both shoot sub Moa. If I can get a load both rifles will shoot I will be real happy...tj3006 freedom1st

I replied to your post over on 24hr also. I hate when you guys show pics of your 88's.. cause it just reminds me what an *sshole I was to sell mine ! Anyway good luck with yours and let me know if you have any luck with factory ammo for it. Rob Rob C

TJ, what is the powder that you plan on using in the .308 Win's. Two nice rifles, I like those 88's. A friend of mine has one in .284 Win. 6.5 SWEDE.

I will play around till I find what works best. And probably still play around with loads. I alredy have done real well with hornady 165 grain Flat base over IMR-4064 Groups well under an inch. Did,t chrony but judging by the recoil I would say they were prety fast. I just loaded some 150 grain Hornady BTs over W-748 , That powder works real well with the Bolt rifle so I hope it does with the 88 also...tj3006 freedom1st
