Where do you look to find a Ruger model 77's build date.Number on gun says 75-00817 on left side.Would it be worth 350 with a leopold mk8-6 scope on it. Has some small rust spots, but the finish is real shiny blue.

Your rifle with the Leupold is definitely worth it unless it has been thrashed. Is the bore in good shape? Is the Leupold's glass show bad cleaning marks? Is the stock split? Clean M77's go for 300 to 350 easily around here. The scope is the bonus.
