I would like to conduct a survey as to which .300magnum chambering AR folk would be most likely to buy if a used rig came on the market.

The 300 win is such a good cartridge. The others are good too ! but I Can't see me shooting far enough to need anything bigger , and while the short mag works well enough , I just don't like anything that is so damn hyped when it reall does nothin new. Argued about this with a guy trying to sell me a rifle the other day , swears up and down the 300 WSM is much better than the 300 win. I said If I point a 300 win mag at an animals front shoulder crease and pull the trigger, tell me how the 300 wsm will do better. he tells me about a more efficiant powder collom a little less powder a little shorter action , I said great if you are trying to win a match, I,m a hunter. I,ll take the better heavy bullet performance. ...tj3006 freedom1st

In an ORIGINAL chambering, it would have to be the .300 H & H or the .308 Norma due to their relative scarcity and/or history. However, a custom-built rifle (non-original chambering) in either caliber would likely be a much slower sell than something more common like .300 Winchester Magnum. Good or bad, a wildcat is a very slow mover on the open market and can be expected to sell at a discount.

The poll says it all. Tried quite a few and guess what i just bought the other day? Yep a used 300 win mag(again) in a Browning a-bolt .Was a little surprised by the 300 H&H showing that good

You left out the best with the 30/378 Weatherby. The 300 Winchester hands down of the ones you list. Free men should not be subjected to permits, paperwork and taxation in order to carry any firearm. NRA Benefactor
