Thanks for the advice and info. I would love to see those spec., if you do get a chance (Jim@JamesPRobinsonLaw.com). Interestingly, it also comes with about 60 rounds of Kynoch ammunition. Not original, but probably '50's vintage. Also, I measured the barel at 27", which is a length I had not come across before. I shouldn't do it, but I am really leaning towards snapping this one up. Oh, did I mention that the original owner had a little brass name plate put in the stock (like you sometimes see). His initials were "J.I.M." Could it be a sign??

Dimensionally this must surely be the same as what is listed in the CIP specs as a 275 Belted NE. If it is, and you are going to reload for it, we have bullets for it.

According to the info. I received today from H&H, you are correct. It throws a .287 in. bullet not a 7mm (.284). Are .287 bullets available anywhere??

Jim,
Woodleigh (I believe that is who provides the bullets to H&H) and Hawk both make .287" bullets. Both are semi-spitzers.

Those are the only two I could find. I'm sure there are some custom bullet makers out there that will make whatever size you would like.
