I just loaded some of them in my 300 winny with a load that's supposed to do around 2650-2700 fps.
Has anyone used these bullets for hunting and how do you like them? has there been any issues with stabalizing in a factory barrel?

I have used them with 69 gr Rel 22 at 2750 with great results.

Just work up any load you like, any 1-10 twist should work just fine.

It was my original choice for my .06 for bear hunting. 2 of the local stores were out of them so I settled on a 180 partition.

The Hornady 220 was recommended to me by another bear hunter. It is his favorite bullet on deer and bear, and 2 moose.

I shot one deer with that bullet in an '06. If I remember correctly the velocity was just over 2500 f.p.s. A friend has used them for years in a 300 wm. Kill's 'em dead.
