What is the heaviest 7 mm bullet on the market today? I can only seem to find 175 grains. No real need for anything heavier, just curious. Thanks.

I've seen 190gr produced by Claw. There are 180gr match style bullets available.

Personally I'd rather shoot a really good bullet than a heavy one. You may also need to be cautious with twist rates with heavy bullets, particularly if they are spitzer and not round nose design.

I too have heard of a 190gr bullet. Personally it just doesnt feel right to me to use a bullet heavier than 175gr in 7mmm. Also doesnt feel right to me to use a 380gr bullet in 375 H&H but then again I am old fashioned Smiler

The Barnes "Original" cup and core was also available in 180gr for .270. I still have some. This was discontinued some years ago - probably 6 or 7 years at least I'd guess. I know I struggled to find some at the time I was looking for a heavy .270 bullet.
