Just wondering if anyone has shot game with the new Hornady GMX bullets yet?

I tried some in a 300 WSM yesterday at the range and the groups were outstanding. These bullets are new enough that I do not know anyone that has shot any game with them.

I was shooting the 165 grain GMX over H 4350 and got repeated 1/2 inch groups. I intend to load some up to try on deer, hogs, etc. but was just wondering if anyone had tried them yet.

I have not found the right combination yet but suspect it will perform on par with all the other monolithic bullets.

I paid SST price for Bonded Core bullets but I received 165gr GMXs. Great buy. They sure are long. I think I will load them in 300WSM. They sure look deadly just sitting on my reloading bench.

My brother uses them in his 30 06 and they dropped 2 deer in one day clean blow throughs 308 size enterance wounds silver dollar exit wounds with minimal meat lost. All in all I think they are great bullets.

My wife used 150 gr GMX in her 308 this year. Shot a doe in the neck at 275 yards. Passed through leaving a nice 3/4" exit hole.
