a little help is needed. I have the option to buy a new (never fired) Remington Sendaro, stainless fluted barrel, in 300 Rem ultra mag with a real nicely installed muzzzel brake and would like to know what it's worth. that way neither I nor the seller will be hurt. thanks

You can get them for $690 on gunbroker, but you would have to add in the muzzlebrake. So I would say $700 to $750 would be fair for a private sale. And if you really want this gun, full price like $800.

For a brand new but second-hand gun like that, take the average retail price, knock 70$ off, pay no tax, only shipping.

I owed the exact rifle your talking about, I guess I still do since my brother never paid me for it. [Big Grin] If it was me, I would buy one without a brake. With the nice recoil pad and the weight of the rifle it's not necessary IMO unless you're shooting it off a bench a lot. If that's what you want it for I'd pick something a little milder anyway. Makes a fantastic been field/stand rifle.
