I ned some loads for Pennsylvania Black Bear. I will be shooting a M-70 Bolt in 358. I was leaning towards the 210-225 area but let me know your thoughts. Thanks for any input..

I have killed four Black Bears, (big mature ones) using the 358 Win in a Ruger having an 18 1/2 inch barrel. Was able to get just over 2500 fps using 2015 and the Sierra 225 BT bullet in this rifle. I have also killed 2 Moose and lots of Deer with this load. This bullet has always performed without a flaw at very short ranges, and out to around 200 yards.

18 whitetails and 2 Black Bears went to the Happy Huntin grounds with 45 grs of H335 and the Hornady 250 grain ROUND NOSE SOFT POINT! This load is totally awesome and use it once you will not go elsewhere... Good hunting
