I was cleaning out my reloading room and organizing things and I found a box of British .303 ammunition. I don't know where this box of ammunition came from, I don't now and never have owned a rifle that shoots the British .303 and I have never fired a rifle that shoots the British .303.

Now here's the problem, I'm a cheap SOB and now I've got to buy a gun that goes with this ammunition. Any suggestions for an inexpensive firearm that would be usable for hunting would be greatly appreciated.

Even my spell checker wants to replace Obama, it just doesn't have any suggestions.

An SMLE is probably about as cheap as you're going to get. Look around the local gun shops and see if they have any that have been sportorized as they might be cheaper than one that hasn't been "bubba'd". Good luck. Paul.

No problem. Find a smle or get a barrel for a TC encore. The 303 is a neat round I'm starting to play with one myself and plan to hunt with it next season

Now how's that for a good example of effieciency. Like I bought my first .223 'cause I had picked up a sack of range leavings. Smiler
