It seems that Merkel guns have a certain following by our members. I don't know how many of you are aware of the efforts to create a new Merkel repeating rifle - likely in an attempt to compete with Blaser. Just in case anybody might be interested, you can get more information here:

Please note, I'm not trying to make any statements about the new rifle (good, bad, essential, superfluous - you name it). As a rifle nut, I find new guns of interest, maybe some of you do too?

It will probably be a while before we see any of these in the shops, but at least information is being made available.
