I have an SPS in .308 Win and it shoots great. No complaints from me at all.

If you want the 300 Rem Ultra Mag in blue, CDNN has them for $389 plus shipping and a transfer fee.

CDNN Catalogue

See page 19.

The beauty of the Rem 700 is how accurate they are or can be, the availability of aftermarket parts for them, and the familiarity of gunsmiths with them. Can you buy a better out of the box gun? Yes or at least probably. But not many can be what a tuned 700 can be.

Regards,

LWD

They are nice rifles but I question the finish. I notice stainless SPS models (plural) still in the stores on the shelf and the finish looks as if it is rusting. Remington could have done better.
