| My daughters 7-08 youth shoots really well. The rifle is small, lightweight, and accurate. I did have the trigger stoned to smooth. It didn't bother my girl but it bugged me. |

| Well, I had a chance take my Marlin XS7 in 308 out today. I was checking zero on my hunting rifle and decided to site in and try couple different loads. I was able to get 3/4" groups using 165 Interlocks. The 180 Sierra's didn't shoot so well but the rifle has a 1 in 12 twist so it's probably best suited to 165 grains. I had no issues at all with the rifle. Fed and extracted smoothly, no sticky bolt. So far I think it's the best $300 rifle out there. The trigger is very nice, I adjusted it to the lightest setting which I think is about 4 lbs and it breaks just like the Savage Accutrigger. I'll play with is a little more after hunting season. This one gets an A for a cheap accurate bad weather rifle (I Duracated mine).

Happy to see that you like your .308 Winchester. Me and my dad are thinking about getting a 2 XL7's in .25-06. I think they're the best value on the market right now and I'm planning on getting another soon. |

| I bought a .270 XL-7 and very pleased with how accurate it is.I bought a Remington 30/06 ADL with a plastic stock a few years back and it's every bit the rifle the Remington is IMO. |
