| I have seen a .300 H&H with that crossbolt arrangement here in Vancouver and I own a .375 H&H with it, at least until I restocked it. I think that these were actually factory replacement stocks sold to people whose 70s split their stocks; this was very common in .338s of which I've had five and .375s of which I've had three. There is a lot more variation in Mod. 70s than most people realize as you could order many options on a factory gun back in the day. |
