Anyone shooting a 338win with a 12 twist barrel? Seems this would be ideal for launching 200gr-225 bullets for long range shots out to 500yds. Comments?

Sure Shot, I have a 338 mag that has a 1 in 12 twist. I like the 225 grain premium bullets and the 185 Barnes XLC bullet the best for general game hunting. So far it shoots everything I have put down the barrel quite well MOA speaking.

I will try some of the 275 grain Swift A Frames when I get my hands on some. These would seem to be the cats meow in bear country or hunting really big game in places like Africa.

Friend is sending off a Ruger 77 to Pac-Nor for a 12twist in 338Win. We're thinking Barnes 210XLCs or Nosler 210 Part. sure-shot
