Hi AR Team,

This coming weekend I am fortunate enough to be hunting in my favourite place in the world so far
I have prepared my favourite calibre: 270 Winchester

This week I loaded a variety of projectiles which include

1. Sierra 90g HP
2. Taipan 116g HP
3. Sierra Game King 130g
4. Nosler BT's 140g

I have a number of different loads with the same projectile, so you will notice in each box a small piece of paper that indicates what particular load can be found

Pics are of the loads completed this week, a close up of the 90g HP and some pics of Euchareena, where I consider to be my fav hunting spot, thos with google earth check it out !

I also did a box of 30/30 as well

I hate it when the papers blow away! Try printer labels, stuck to the boxes.

Always something satisfying about looking at a bunch of loads you put together, and knowing the quality is there. thumb

What are you hunting on you trip?

why would you have so many different loads?????????

you would be better off with the one bullet weight for your 270 win, i don't spose they all shoot to the same POI? a good 130gr pill will kill all the goats and pigs you can find... Cool

CC: I have so many loads becuase of too reasons

1. The game I come across can vary from rabbits to deer: and 99% of shots are around 100-200 so POI doesn't enough to worry me, at 100 metres there is negligible diff

2. Becuase I love relaoding and experimenting with different loads :-)

Good argument, except that I don't like the look of boxes once labels are stuck on them. Moreover, the next time you load you will need to stick another label on. Can you get the first one off? Or do you need to put the second label over the first one? That looks even more crappy to me. And so on. This offends my aesthetic sense.

Beefa,

Good luck with the Taipans.

I've tried the 130 gns and they don't shoot into a foot square at 100yards from my 270 win or my 270 weatherby.

Return to Noslers and its back to under an inch. Taipans are cheap, but won't see my money again.
