I haven't seen much talk of the Speer Grand Slam bullets - what's the word on them? How would they be on African game such as Kudu, Eland, and Zebra? (Obviously the standby's are the A-Frame and Partition. I rather like the short length of the GS as I will be using it in my .350 RMag...) Regards, Robert ****************************** H4350! It stays crunchy in milk longer!

I've used the .308" 180 graine Gramd Slams in a .30/06 Sprg. and consider them an outstanding bullet. Don't have any experinece with the .358" 250 grain Grand Slams but if they perform anything like the .308"'s I wouldn't hesitate to use them. The vast majority of Plains Game in Namibia & RSA is taken every year by local hunters who shoot bunches game with regular old vanilla-flavored bullets with what we could perceive to be less than premium ammunition in cartridges such as .303 British, 7x57 & 8x57 Mausers, .308 Win. and .30/06 Sprg. You'd be astonished at what premium ammunition costs for locals in these countries; I would consider myself well-equipped with a cartridge like the .350 Rem. Mag. and Speer Grand Slam bullets. At the End-of-the-Day; it's just a matter of using a reasonable cartridge for the task at hand and where you plunck 'em. Cheers, Number 10

I've had wonderful success with both the 250 gr 358 and 338 Grand Slam bullets. Remember, forgivness is easier to get than permission.

I have used Speer Grand Slams with complete satisfaction for years. A 250 grain .338 Winchester magnum was my light and medium rifle in Africa. I would use the same combination without hesitation.
