Assuming a rebore and no change in barrel setback, is this possible? Ammo Guide said yes, but looking at the case dimensions, the 300 Win Mag is longer and would take at least a .165" set back on the barrel. Thoughts? Nope, You can't rechamber a 300 wmag to 308 Norma without set back. Unless my memory is gone the 358 is the same case. As usual just my $.02 Paul K

7mm Mag and 338 WM work fine. Looking at some Sako's right now to purchase and rechamber to a 358 Norma. I really like a 300 Win Mag Finnbear I found, but it would need the barrel set back if I rebored. So looking at alternatives right now. You could do a .358-.375 Epstein. The .375 Epstein is the .300 Win Mag necked up to .375. No barrel setback is normally required.

No. The 375 Epstein is a long necked 375-338.
