You can buy the same stock from MPI. They're in Oregon. If I sold it to you I'd just end up having to buy another as that's what I wanted because of the fit and finish. Incidentally, they've done a complete 180�. They were pretty bad for a good while but turned things around and now supply very nice looking raw stocks. They go for $210 as best I recall. I bought it last June expecting the MRC action then. MPI is in Oregon somewhere. I can find the address if you can't.

Thanks anyway. Yes, I know where MPI is located (Portland) and I've visited their shop. But why did you buy the schnable version only to cut it off?

Because it was the only stock of the several they have for the short action M70 that has the right drop in the comb for me. Fits my face just right. The others don't, either to tight or too low. If they had the same drop in one of the others I'd have bought it, but they don't so I'll just shape it like the standard stocks and I'll be pleased.
