Yeah, I know! I ask, a lot, about scopes these days. The thing is: I'm also going for a new scope on my 22-250. I was thinking of a B&L 4200, 6-24x40 AO as I know is a good scope for long range shooting. But then I saw in the catalog that there was a "new" one, the 8-32x40 AO!! (New to me, though!) I have a lot of buddies that have 6-24's, and I have borrowed one from a friend for a while to, so I know what that is. But, I have not heard anything about the "new" one the 8-32. Does anybody have anything, good or bad, to shear before I do my choice??

I have an OLD 6-24X40 B&L (1983 vintage) on my 22-250 and it is a great scope. I think you will find it much more versatile than the 8-32. Cheers pete

I like the B&L glass and presume the Bushnell Elites are as clear or clearer. I've always been a fan. Russ

Since I'm thinking of using this rifle (22-250) for some beaverhunting, and foxhunting, then the light is almost dark, maybe I'm better of if I buy the B&L elite 4200 4-16x50AO then?? OR........, maybe a Burris Signature 6-24x44AO??? I have great difficulties making up my mind here!! What do you guys recomend: a Burris, or a Bauch & Lomb (Bushnell)?? I need a long range target scope, but also a scope thats proper for some bad-light hunting as well. Please give me some advices???
