Anyone own or have shot a Sako TRG 22. I am thinking of getting one in 308. I want something as accurate or more accurate than a blaser r8. I like the stock on a TRG 22. It is right handed but the stock is ambidextrous. The barrel is threaded m18x1 and my silcenrco omega 300 is set up for it. Thanks, Mike

I have one in 6.5 Creedmoor. They are pretty heavy, and more a range toy in this country- not a hunting arm. Very accurate. Not bench rest type grouping, but sub MOA with cheap hornady. I’ve never tried to put a suppressor on mine.

I have several. Sako makes the best rifles in Europe.

I had a TRG-42, great rifle. Recoil was minimal in 338 Lapua with the factory brake. I haven't owned one in about 8 years, but I'd own another one. Saeed is right, Sako makes a great rifle. KRG makes a Sakoesque stock for the Tikka T3, they also make a two stage trigger. Savings over a TRG-22 for a Tikka T3 Tactical and a KRG stock is about $1000. Either way Sakot/Tikka great rifles.

I have had a Sako TRG-42 in .338 Lapua for several years. I bought it from a shooting buddy who had a very expensive Muzzle Brake intstalled on it that works very nicely. My son and I have taken many Bull Elk with it coupled with a 225 grain Northfork bullet at 3100 fps. He got a 360 Boone and Crockett bull with it in Kentucky. A great round if you like big bullets going fast. Good Shooting. phurley

No TRG 22. But, I have a possibly unfired LNIB Tikka T-3 sporter here that I might let go of in .223Rem. at a good price. Includes a picattiny rail and a down force muzzle break to reduce barrel hop. PM if interested. CB Life itself is a gift. Live it up if you can.

No problem I just bought a Steyr thb https://www.steyr-arms.com/us/steyr-thb I have a acc suppressor can that is no longer produced or supported. I am going to make the Steyr a dedicated rifle for this can and it’s muzzle brake. The can is 30 cal so I need a 30 cal gun. I am still looking for a sako trg but looking for a 26 inch barrel. Ah. Not bad, much less bulky looking than the TRG 22. But, the .308 units stock is black. That's odd that only the Creedmoor comes in green. No matter. Have fun with it. CB Life itself is a gift. Live it up if you can.
