Quote: I'LL TELL you that I was amazed how well the gun and cartridge shoot. I remember the articles by Askins and others about how it was so accurate for a "thumper". Once I had the brake put on it and could just concentrate on shooting instead of thinking of recoil effect, it simply became an awesome system that rivals my heavy .308 bolt guns for accuracy. I have MAYBE, 3 other rifles that are more accurate and they all are dedicated heavy bbl sniper grade shooting match ammo. For a rifle shooting hunting bullets it consistently groups 3/4" or less when shooting GameKings or NorthFork bullets. It is the only rifle I would ever have the confidence in to take those 400+ yd caribou shots. Quite honestly under the right conditions I wouldn't hesitate to hit one at 800. The gun shoots 8-9" groups at 1000 yds. Will be strethcing out some North Fork loads over christmas at 500-700yds to see how they compare to the GameKings. | ||
