| I don't actually need an excuse. My gun room has a lock on it, and no one else is allowed in there. My gun rack has an opaque front so you can't see into it, and it also has a lock on it. My wife has no idea how many guns I own, and I have no intention of telling her. Some things do not have to be shared, and guns are one of those things. Best wishes.

| It will be worth more than I paid for it someday. I have an extra scope. I have two children and my gun collection can't be divided equally as long as I have an odd number of guns. If I have grandchildren someday, I can use the number of grand children: I have 39 guns and four grandchildren...I have to have 40 guns so that everyone gets 10 |

| I agree with what Cal said. Up here in Canada, persons without proper permits aren't allowed access to firearms. My wife hasn't the proper permits, so she has no access to my gun locker. (not that she'd know one firearm from the other anyway!)
She and I discussed my purchasing habits and decided that I work hard for my money, so I spend it on what I want. The mortgage is paid first, retirement money is put away, food bought, bills paid. The rest is mine to do what I want. Off to the gun show this weekend.
ps; she bought me a new rifle for my birthday this year. |

| I once bought a set of compact Goodyears with Colt Medallions for a Diamondback .22. Found that I didn't like them as much as the Presentation Goodyears with Colt Medallions. So I left the Presentations on the .22, and bought a Detective Special to go with the Compacts. Salesman knew what I was doing, too, and couldn't wait to tell the owner what he'd seen. Guess he hadn't seen that one, yet.
I still have the Diamondback. |

| Lets see,"Did you hear that?, that rifle is calling my name." or "The voices in my head told me to." The neighbors dog has been telling me to buy another gun. |
