Jah, ganz gutt! Now all you have to do is get someone to make you a set of rings to fit your claw-mount bases! Unfortunately, you'll probably have to send the gun to some outfit for that. I had a set for my J.P. Sauer 8X60 double made by Paul Jaeger when they were in PA. It took about a year to get the gun back-I think they sent it to Germany! However, most claw-mount bases are individuals to the point that there aren't just sets of rings out there......

(Looks like that front mount base is dovetailed thru a cut in the receiver ring????)

Oh Boy,

That's a really lovely 7x64mm, but for all the reasons mentioned by others, I'll stick with my 1950s FN (in 7x64, of course)

Note: there is a guy advertising doing claw mounts here in the USA now. Goes by the name of Buehler Custom Sporting Arms, P.O. Box 4096, Medford, Oregon 97501 also rbrifle@earthlink.net

Have never used his services, just have a brochure.

I've had 2 rifles in 7x64. A 1947 Brno 22F and a Walter Rolle Oberndorf Model S. The mauser was a tack driver, and the Brno was pretty close to it.
