Bought Sako 75 probably 5 or 6 years ago. Took it out to shoot this year, planned on using it. I posted many places how the gun would nt shoot and all I tried to make it shoot. I own 5 other Sakos, all of which shoot. Sent it to Beretta, got a call from them, they will charge me $90.00 to check the gun and see what is wrong with it, even though it had never been shot before. I guess the next several rifles will be Steyer. I had great opinion of Sako rifles. Guess they are falling down just like everything else.

???? didn't quite make sense. I'd be pissed too if they wanted to charge $90 just so look something over!................DJ ....Remember that this is all supposed to be for fun!..................

A better question is, Why would you wait 5-6 years after buying a gun before testing it? I may or may not take a new gun home before taking it to the range to try it out. Like any other company they start your warranty from the date of purchase not the first time you fire it. Even my spell checker wants to replace Obama, it just doesn't have any suggestions. jerry.baldwin06@comcast.net

I'd call 'em back and re-explain the situation. (in a nice way) Talk to the next guy up the ladder. See if they would start the clock ticking at a later date. What's the rifle doing? What are you calling "won't shoot? Aim for the exit hole

Did you try any of the suggestions you were given before? Try relieving the stock. Make sure it is not putting pressure on the barrel as the barrel heats up.

You're joking right? First you say it couldn't shoot and then you couldn't make it shoot.....then "it has never been shot before......" And oh by the way I bought it 5 years ago WTF Frankly the only thing you shoulda got for free is the courtesy of not being laughed at. Now you know why you're being charged to look at the gun. And even if you "really" didn't shoot the gun after 5 years you expect not to be charged........... I don't know of any smith who'll inspect a gun w/out charging. Ain't nothin free...... There are two types of people in the world: those that get things done and those who make excuses. There are no others.

Investments some others why shoot as it's just another one to clean and store as used !. NIB is attractive on some models an fetch premiums . I to am curious as to What , Won't shoot means if it's Never been fired ?. Broken firing pin or What ?.

I have 5 Sako's and two of them are 75 finnlights in 300 Win Mag and the other a 270 and both shoot very well. I do have a Henry Big Boy 44mag that i've owned for 9 years and it has never been fired. I still scratch my head at that but it hasn't been yet. It sure is purty though
