I have a neighbor that has a 7mm WSM rifle in a browning A-bolt that is having some difficulties getting it to shoot under 2-1/2 to 3" groups shooting 150 grain Federal ammunition at 100 yards. He has shot this ammo for awhile now and seems to like it but never tried to sight it in for what I would call accuracy. (3" group was OK with him until he saw me shoot my rifles). I tried to explain to him that he needs to try different ammo and see if he can find something that it "likes". I reload for my rifles and haven't bought factory ammo since early 2000. I am not interested in reloading and working up a load for him in this rifle. I would like some suggestions from anyone on here that might be shooting the same rifle as to what their rifles like as far as factory ammo. Looking for a place for him to start without buying a bunch of expensive ammo that won't shoot any better than what he is now. I understand it's a crap shoot, but was hoping to narrow down the options a bit. Thank you, David

Have you shot his rifle? Maybe the problem is him!??

Yes, myself and another guy both shot the rifle and even used a led sled. Even changed scopes. It's the rifle/ammo combination I believe.

The Federal Fusions have a reputation of being consistently pretty accurate. But, as you indicate, you never know until you try.
