Got a new Lock,Stock,&Barrel catalog yesterday and it shows that Hornady has come out with a new ammo offering,9.3x74R NOT 9.3x62. Ain't got no choice I'll have to live with that but it also seems that the 286gr.SP bullets their putting in this ammo is not listed in the catalog as a reload component. Midway still has them listed but maybe just until their gone?
Just had a revelation! Hornady/Ruger,.375 Ruger Hawkeye, maybe 9.3x74R Ruger No.1. What ya think? Still no reason to not offer their bullet as a component.

Wow. I guess the 20 rounds of handloaded .400/.360 Purdey Nitro Express ammo featuring Hornady's 286 grain spire point I have in the case with my old Evans is a figment of my imagination.

The retailers just haven't ordered them yet. Call 'em up and scream.

And the ten point buck I drug out of the woods last year died of a heart attack, not as a result of an imaginary Hornady bullet from my 9,3x62 handloads. Wink
I've got a few boxes of the 9,3mm 286gr bullets from Midway and my rifle really likes them, hope they stay available.

Yea,maybe it was just a coincidence that L,S,&B added Hornadys new 9.3x74R ammo to their new catalog and forgot to put the 9.3 286gr bullet in Hornadys component list.

Some one must have just purchased the last box as Midway is now listing it as "Out of Stock, Backorder OK". Graf still has it.
