Hello,
I have recently acquired a BRNO ZG-47 from 1956 chambered in 8x60S. Sadly, the front sight blade is missing and I would like to shoot it as is, without a scope. Do you have a similar rifle which has the front sight blade? I would like to get some measurements of it so I can get one custom made because I am not really sure I will be able to find a factory made one.

The ZG-47 has a push button release for the front sight insert. The same insert will fit Cz550, CZ527 and Brno600 series.

The insert on my ZG-47 is 5.68mm in height.

New England Custom Gun sells front sight inserts. Two fiber-optic styles and one Patridge style

I happen to have a ZG47 8x60S barrel somewhere in the shop. When I find it, I can measure the height.

Cheers mate, much appreciated. I did order two front sights made by CZ for the CZ550 (I heard they work for the ZG47 as well) , a number #9 and #12. Maybe one of those two will be the "one", but I don't want to get my hopes up.

Finally found my barrel. The sight blade measures approximately .126" from the top of the blade to the base.

Thank you very much! Given this measurements, I might have to file them down a bit, but I still have to go to the range to try them out.
