What method or technique do some of you veterans use to sight in your rifles? Please include your bore-sighting method. I need to sight in my .375 H&H M70 Classic Stainless. Using two identical Leupold 1.75X6X32E scopes in QR rings. One for reduced loads (Sie 200gn FP @ 2120fps), and one for full-snort hunting (300gn. A-Frames @ 2500fps). Please give step-by-step procedure. A site search did not prove very fruitful. Thanks.

Just my methiod.
Bore sight using a deprimed, fired case. Looking thru the primer hole makes it easier. Use external adjustments first, internal adjustments last.
First round(s) at 25yd, adjust for L/R center and within 1" up and down.
Move to 100yd, and fine tune as neccessory.

Personaly I'd see just how much different the 2 loads are before I'd worry about changing scopes between loads (and than I'd consider "clicking" my zero change rather than changing scopes) but that's just me.

Once you get the bullet to hit the paper, here's a trick that'll get you on target really fast, shooting from a secure rest: After firing, carefully realign the rifle on the rest so the scope's aimed right at the aiming point again. Without disturbing the rifle, adjust the scope so it's aimed at the bullet hole. Next shot'll be right on the bull, within the error range of your group size.
