My daughter is now 15 and bound and determined to kill her this year deer with my 300Wby. I told her if she could shoot it straight she could carry it. Saturday at the pit she put 5 shots into 1.1 inches at 100 and 5 into 1.7 inches at 200 with 130grain Barnes TSXs. The rifle is a Mark V Ultra Lightweight with a Zeiss 4.5-14 in Leupold PRW rings. She also shot nickles with the 6.5WSM, 260, and 223. I don't think I have to worry about any boys mis-treating my little girl! They're all too scared to ask her out. Any way pretty cool to watch the next generation burning large columns of powder, especially when they are 5'5 and 100 pounds.

Good choice with the load! I noticed when I tried the 130's last year the recoil is nothing compared to the 165-180 class of bullets. If you think every possible niche has been filled already, thank a wildcatter!
